I have been involved in UFO research and investigation since an impromptu trip to Piedmont, Mo. In 1972 unearthed some long lost memories of childhood experiences. Driven by these memories and a desire to understand them, I looked for people who might have answers. In 1976 I joined the UFOSG, UFO Study Group of Greater St. Louis and MUFON, the Mutual UFO Network.

In 1978 I spent the months of June through September traveling to Elsberry, Missouri, the site of cattle mutilations, UFO reports and other anomalous phenomena. At that time, I also investigated UFO reports in Union, Missouri, related to the Winscher Car lift case.  That summer I catalogued 120 UFO reports in Missouri.

In the late 1980s, when computers were just catching on I started UFORN, the UFO Research Network, which was then referred to as a “BBS” or Bulletin Board System.  It was very primitive compared to what we use today. No scanners. No right clicks, no left clicks, just DOS. I had to type in all the reports and articles by hand.

From 1980 through 1990, I was the Missouri Director for UFOCCI, UFO Contact Center International headed by Aileen Garotte dedicated to abductees.

In 1985 I was on the planning committee for the 1985 MUFON Symposium held in St. Louis, Mo., at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel.  I also served as Assistant Editor on the UFOSGs newsletter, the Enigma for four years. I quit MUFON in 1986.

In 1990 I became involved in the investigation of the Ed Walters/Gulf Breeze UFO case controversy.  Walters claimed to have two corroborating witnesses, Bill and Jane, whose pictures and reports he used in the book The Gulf Breeze Sightings. Unfortunately for Ed, he didn’t think ahead, he claimed the Copyright on the photos which he could not do unless he actually took them. In a correspondence a few years later, Ed admitted that he owned the photos. Gulf Breeze was a hoax.

In 2000 I became involved in the Illinois Triangle case investigated by Dave Marler. Seeing a need for a reporting venue, I created the Missouri Investigators Group employing over a hundr5ed Missouri residents as investigators. At this time Ibegan working with Peter Davenport of NUFORC, the National UFO Center in Washington State. To date I have uploaded almost 150 reports to the NUFORC site. In 2011 I began the MIG Facebook Group and in 2018 UFO Reports – Worldwide.

I have personally witnessed the following types of UFOs: Triangle, Boomerange, Rectangle, “Saucer”, Cigar and OBOL, I have had experiences with “ghosts” and Bigfoot.

I have articles published in IUR, The International UFO Reporter, the MUFON UFO Journal as well as Orbiter Magazine. I am currently a member of UFORCOP, Phantoms and Monsters Research Group and Black Vault Investigations.
